Unfortunately, after such a great tour to Dunkirk last year, Stuart had to spend 5 days with my Dad, sister and me touring Normandy. We had a great time visiting each of the five D-Day beaches, various memorials (including lesser known ones) and everything else in between. Once again, Stuart was brilliant from pick up to drop off. • I have just taken part in a fabulous battlefield tour to Dunkirk. The whole event was primed by brilliant stand selection, which Stu used as a platform to build the story of the campaign. A master storyteller he recreated the tension of the retreat and evacuation through a range of human stories on the very ground, sea and skies of the battle. Others may show you where it happened, the conversations which hinged off Stu’s detailed preparation and heartfelt delivery opened a whole window back to 2 weeks in May/June 1940. The Baxters Battlefield Tours team gave us a solid two-days of informative, thought-provoking and moving memories from a time when so many men were killed fighting for our country during World War 1.
