The advantage of being a smaller company means we can offer bespoke tours of all kinds on dates that you choose! Our smaller group tours are definitely a great way to see the battlefields, whether it is a family members story you want us to research and then take you on their journey or just a general tour of the battlefields that you have a specific interest in, there is always an option we can offer no matter the size of your group.

We offer a varied assortment of tours across the WW1 battlefields of the Somme, Ypres Salient, Arras, and the WW2 battlefields including the Dunkirk beaches and the landing beaches of Normandy (the cost of the Normandy area varies from those advertised below and can be discussed via email or telephone), all are as awe inspiring as the next yet different in their own way.

There are varied lengths of tours from three to five days which can all be tailored to what you want to see and where you want to go.

Tours can be mixed if you didn’t want to stay in one area, for example on a four-day tour you may have three days on the Somme and one on the Salient, or vice versa. We will give you all options and the decision and the tour really is exactly how you want it!

All our general tours include visits to start off points, memorials, cemeteries, finishing points, personal stories and areas of interest often out of reach of bigger coach tours. That saying if you are on one of our coach tours that does not mean we wont try our hardest to get to that off the beaten track stop!

All stops are brought to life using digital aids, maps and photographs to a point you really feel you are living that family members moments or the men and women’s lives you have only ever seen in black and white on television. Our small team of guides (which you can see on our “Meet our Guides” webpage) all have their own speciality & passions and that shows when they are delivering their presentations. Our smaller tours are a lot more personal, and it will almost feel like you have the guide on a one-to-one basis! Added to this on any group tours of five / six and above you also have the use of a tour manager who is also part of the guide team, so you actually have two guides if your group is larger!

Groups can be as small or as large as you want however this will reflect on the average price per person of each tour. Below are some price examples in the areas covered (Excluding Normandy-Please contact us for more details). Remember all tours can include a mix of areas visited.

A £100 deposit per person is required to secure any booking

Price includes –

Pick up from two designated places at origin of tour within the UK and then any required stops on agreed route to port.

Minimum 3* hotel or B&B accommodation per night

Breakfast on all days excluding the pickup day

Chanel crossing (preferably via Eurotunnel as a first choice but ferry if needed)

All tolls, fuel, transport across the battlefields of France & Belgium

Personal guidance from battlefield guide from start to finish of your tour

Tour manager on tour for all groups of five and above alongside guide

Complimentary wreath supplied for the group to lay at their choice of site
