The advantage of being a smaller company means we can offer bespoke tours of all kinds and our walking tours are becoming more and more popular. All our tours are tailored around the walking strength of the group and based around what the group want to take from the walks.

We offer a varied assortment of walks across the WW1 battlefields of the Somme, Ypres Salient, Arras, and the WW2 battlefields including the Dunkirk beaches and Normandy beaches (the cost of the Normandy area varies from those advertised below and can be discussed via email or telephone) and all are as awe inspiring as the next yet different in their own way. There are varied lengths of tours from three to five days which caters for the easy-going walker to the hardy rambler familiar to long days in the fields. Each walk concentrates on a set area of the battlefield in the area chosen, taking in start off points, memorials, cemeteries, finishing points and areas of interest often out of reach of  bigger coach tours. We truly believe that there is nothing like getting your boots on the ground and on these tours, we really do get down to the nitty gritty!

Generally, on each tour there will be two or three walks per day with the exception of the first and last days (excluding the three-day tour when a smaller walk will be included on days one and three) when other sites of importance will be visited, but all will tie in with the walks you have been on. Walks can also be adjusted as we go to take in sites of significance to you that appear as we walk. This is your tour, and we change and adapt as you require.

Groups can be as small or as large as you want however this will reflect on the average price per person of each tour. Below are some price examples in the areas covered (Excluding Normandy-Please contact us for more details). The five-day tour can include two days in one area, a cross over day (one walk will still be made) and then two days in another area. 

Remember these are bespoke tours and the dates are chosen by you and all prices are negotiable.

For groups of six, up to forty please contact us to discuss your ideas/needs and we will quote you on numbers wanting to travel and travel method.

These prices are just a guide, and all options can be discussed and agreed on before booking

A £100 deposit per person is required to secure any booking

Price includes –

Pick up from two designated places at origin of tour within the UK and then any required stops on agreed route to port.

Minimum 3* hotel or B&B accommodation per night

Breakfast on all days excluding the pickup day

Chanel crossing (preferably via Euro tunnel as a first choice but ferry if needed)

All tolls, fuel, transport across the battlefields of France & Belgium

Personal guidance from battlefield guide from start to finish of your tour including on all walks and static site stops

Tour manager on tour for all groups of five and above alongside guide

Complimentary wreath supplied for the group to lay at their choice of site
